Fab lab travels have included launching a new lab in Jeddah in January, preparing new labs in the UK in February,0 Prof. Gershenfeld joining President Obama at an event highlighting education and technology in Boston in March, and Sherry Lassiter addressing the business and education communities in Minnesota in April.=A0 With the many labs planned, the total number is approaching 100 in 23 countries. This growing network will be gathering in Lima, Peru August 15-19 for its annual meeting, FAB7:
