CBA co-hosted the global fab lab network in Amsterdam in August for FAB6. This annual event (to be held in Lima, Peru next year) included a week of hands-on workshops at fab labs across the Netherlands, and a one day symposium on the principles and applications of digital fabrication:

Around FAB6, CBA research was presented by Prof. Gershenfeld at TEDGlobal in Oxford and the Alpbach Forum in Austria.

The mobile fab lab will also be part of the upcoming USA Science & Engineering Festival taking place on the Mall in DC the weekend of October 23, 24. We'll be at Freedom Plaza on Pennsylvania Avenue at 13th Street; come by, bring the family and make something fun!
