An early CBA event planned with the National Academies (of Science and Engineering) in Los Angeles, Science in Hollywood: Content and Communication:

(followed by a related event in New York) has led to the launch of the Science and Entertainment Exchange by the National Academies, providing scientific expertise for popular media as well as popular media for outreach in science.
An agreement to develop Spain's first zero-emission residential complex was recently signed; this will be one of the testbed sites for CBA and partners' I2E (Intelligent Infrastructure for Energy Efficiency) program, part of MIT's Energy Initiative:

We're pleased to report that CBA's "Milli-Biology" project, seeking to re-implement molecular biology in mesoscale engineered materials for coded fabrication, has progressed to a Phase II award from DARPA.
