CBA's mobile fab lab

a community organization committed to techno literacy. San Diego has a strong sister city relationship with Jalalabad, Afghanistan, and the plan is that this vibrant new lab will seed a fab lab in Jalalabad in 2008.
Prof. Neil Gershenfeld, Director of CBA, will be speaking about CBA research in a keynote at SC07, the annual supercomputing meeting to be held next week in Reno.
The next CBA event will be a workshop from Dec. 11-13 on the Internet 0 initiative to extend the Internet to embedded devices. This event follows an earlier meeting on intelligent infrastructure for energy efficiency:
